Once you know it, you're already too late...
A new horror series filled with demons, monsters, and black magic
from Demonweasel Studios, written & lettered by Thacher E. Cleveland (GRIM REEFER) with art by Daniel Caval (MYTHPOCALYPSE)
There are things in this world that, once learned, can never be forgotten. No matter what you do, this knowledge will
pull you into the world of supernatural dangers hidden just beneath the surface. All you can do is try to survive.
George Valley thought he'd been able to stop fighting and leave that world behind, and for a decade he was right. He's about to be proven wrong.
When his estranged daughter Harmony finally learned the truth about him, she dove in head-first, eager to continue his legacy. She'll realize that she hasn't learned enough.
To Harris Edwards, George is just the cool older guy he's been friends with since he was a teenager. He has no idea about the horrors that lie in wait. He'll have to learn fast...or die.
So what IS this world, exactly?
On the surface, it's just like ours. Under that surface is a secret world of magic, monsters, and demonic forces trying to claw their way in. Those forces, as well as secret societies, cults, and companies, have managed to keep their existence a secret. People do manage to stumble into that secret world on occasion, and everybody knows somebody who knows somebody that had some run in with a ghost or some other creature. Some of those who survive the revelation of this world's existence will find themselves drawn back to it. Others dive in, eager to explore its secrets.
The world of Forbidden Knowledge is driven by long-form serialized storytelling, be it in prose, comics, and perhaps other mediums in the future. It's a place where monsters are Monsters and magic always has a steep cost. Like life, it's dark and funny and scary and violent and tender, sometimes all at once. It's a world that will evolve as its stories unfold, and its residents will evolve with it. Unless their lives are unexpectedly cut short, that is.
Until then, they're going to be messy, complicated, weird, passionate, and imperfect. They'll make mistakes, they'll be hurt, and they will be heartbroken. The connections to each other and how they live their lives will be as much of a focus as the things that are trying to end them.

"Reads like the monstrous offspring of a Stephen King book & a John Hughes movie." - via Goodreads Ten years later, in the waning days of the pandemic, the house where Mark fought for his life and soul is gone...but the evil still remains. When apprentice spell-caster Martin Green stumbles upon it, he barely escapes with his life. Knowing he can't face this alone, he reaches out to his boss and mentor, private investigator and powerful caster Henry Churchill. Thanks to the lack of work, his skills are a bit rusty. Not ideal, as the evil in Cedar Ridge is getting stronger and straining to free itself. The survivors from ten years ago must return to face what they left behind if they're ever going to be truly free from the grip of this malevolent force. Henry Churchill will have to call upon forces he's always turned away from if they're going to survive. In this final confrontation, the horrors of Cedar Ridge will either fade into the past or consume them all, body and soul! PRAISE FOR THE SHADOW OF VICTORY
